With St. Patrick’s day fast approaching, you might be on the lookout for things to do in Lancaster. Don’t overlook Iron Hill Brewery, one of Lancaster’s gems and a perfect place for celebrating!
Iron Hill Brewery has been making fine craft beer in Lancaster for years–they make it a point to inform you that their brews travel less than 65 feet between the first step of its creation to your table–but in addition to their beer selection, they also have an extensive menu. We got a sneak peak at their St. Patrick’s Day specials, which offer unique twists on traditional Irish favorites. As expected, they’ll be offering an Irish dry stout alongside their Erin O’Shea beer, and that same Irish stout flavors their classic beef stew. For something unique, give their Irish nachos a try: available with corned beef, these waffle-cut fries are piled high with three-cheese sauce and bacon.
Their St. Patrick’s Day menu will run all day, but make reservations (they use the Open Table system) because it’s sure to be a popular destination. Microbrewing in Lancaster has a tradition of excellence and the proximity to Iron Hill Brewery is just one of the many benefits of living at Pioneer Woods.
